Jon Atkinson, B.S., RPSGT

    Jon is the immediate Past President of the American Association of Sleep Technologists     
    (AAST) and current Editor of A2Zzz.  He started his career in sleep medicine technology in
    1981 and became registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Tehnologists
    in 1983, certificate number 76.  He has served the Association of Polysomnographic
    Technologists in a number of capacities since 1994 including Director-at-Large,
    Membership Committee Chair, President-Elect and President.  He has spoken at numerous
    local, regional, national, and international meetings and seminars.  Jon authored several
    chapters in "Fundamentals of Sleep Technology" as well as chapters in several other texts
    and articles in A2Zzz focusing on cardiac arrhythmias.  Jon is currently employed as a
    consultant in sleep medicine technology by Ohio Sleep Consulting and Recording Services, 
    LLC.
