Course Objectives
Physicians will have the ability to interpret results of polysomnography, multiple sleep latency testing, maintenance of wakefulness testing, actigraphy, and portable monitoring related to sleep disorders.

Faculty
Jon Atkinson, B.S., RPSGT 
is the Immediate Past President of the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) and current Editor of A2Zzz.  He started his career in sleep medicine technology in 1981 and became registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists in 1983, certificate number 76.  He has served the Association of Polysomnographic Technologists in a number of capacities since 1994 including Director-at-Large, Membership Committee Chair, President-Elect and President.  He has spoken at numerous local, regional, national, and international meetings and seminars.  Jon authored several chapters in "Fundamentals of Sleep Technology" as well as chapters in several other texts and articles in A2Zzz focusing on cardiac arrhythmias.

Mary Kay Hobby, RRT, RPSGT is the founder / president of Sleep Health Management Resources, Inc. conducting consulting services for sleep centers across the United States and Canada. She is an internationally, nationally, and regionally invited sleep lecturer and is a published author.  Mary Kay is also an active committee member of several state and national Sleep and Respiratory Therapy organizations.  She currently serves as Director-at-Large of the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST).  Mary Kay is the 2007 Sharon Keenan Award recipient honoring excellence in sleep education.
